Frequently asked questions
Everything about running email on autopilot
Postyai is an AI email-marketing agent that writes a unique message for every contact you upload, sends it through your own inboxes within safe limits, follows up, and learns from every reply. Below are the answers we get asked most — on setup, deliverability, data ownership, and billing.
In one sentence, what does Postyai do?
You upload the data and Postyai does the rest — it writes a unique email per contact, warms and manages your own sending inboxes, sends within safe daily limits, follows up automatically, and gets smarter from every reply. It is bring-your-own-everything: your data, your inboxes, your AI key, optional proxies — all of it stays yours, and Postyai is the platform that runs it.
Getting started
What is Postyai?
Postyai is an AI email-marketing agent that runs on autopilot. You upload a CSV of contacts and it writes a unique email for every single person, warms its own sending inboxes, sends within safe daily limits, follows up on your behalf, and learns from every reply. It works for any business — CA and accounting firms, agencies, bankers, loan and finance teams, SaaS, and service businesses — because you bring your own data, accounts, and AI key, and Postyai stays the platform underneath.
Do I need my own email accounts?
Yes — Postyai is bring-your-own-sending. You connect your own Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft, or any SMTP mailboxes, and Postyai sends through them on your behalf. Nothing goes out from a shared Postyai domain, so your sender reputation stays entirely yours. You can start with a single inbox and add more as you scale volume.
Which API keys and accounts do I need to bring?
You bring three things: your contact data (a CSV), one or more sending inboxes (Gmail or SMTP), and your own LLM API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any compatible provider. Proxies are optional. Because the AI key is yours, you control the model, the spend, and the data that ever touches it — Postyai never resells tokens or marks up your usage.
Sending & deliverability
How is this not spam?
Because Postyai writes a genuinely unique, relevant email for each contact instead of blasting one template to a list. It respects per-inbox daily limits, warms accounts before real sending, staggers delivery the way a person would, honours unsubscribes and suppressions automatically, and stops following up the moment someone replies or opts out. You stay in control of who you contact and what you say — the agent just does it well, at scale, within safe limits.
How does inbox warmup work?
Warmup gradually builds each new inbox’s reputation before it sends real campaigns. Postyai starts at a low daily volume, exchanges and opens seed conversations, and ramps sending up slowly over days as engagement stays healthy — so mailbox providers learn to trust the account. It runs continuously in the background per inbox, and campaigns only draw from mailboxes that are warmed and within their safe limit.
How many emails can I send per day?
It depends on your inboxes, not on Postyai. Each mailbox has its own safe daily ceiling — typically a few dozen for a fresh account, scaling into the hundreds once fully warmed — and Postyai never exceeds it. Add more sending accounts to raise your total daily capacity; the agent spreads volume across them and paces sends throughout the day to protect deliverability.
Can I use my own proxies?
Yes. Proxies are optional, but if you want each sending account to connect from its own consistent IP, you can bring your own and assign them per inbox. This is useful when you run many mailboxes and want to keep their footprints cleanly separated. Like everything else in Postyai, the proxies are yours — nothing is routed through shared infrastructure.
Data & compliance
Is Postyai DPDP and GDPR compliant?
Postyai is built to support your compliance under India’s DPDP Act and the EU GDPR. Your data stays in your own accounts and AI key, unsubscribe and suppression handling is automatic and honoured on every send, and you remain the data controller for the contacts you upload. Postyai acts as the platform and never sells, shares, or reuses your lists. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact the people in your CSV — Postyai gives you the controls to do it correctly.
Who owns my data, contacts, and sending accounts?
You do — completely. Your contacts, email content, sending inboxes, and LLM key all belong to you and stay in your accounts. Postyai is the software layer that orchestrates them; it does not take ownership of your lists or lock them in. Export your data or disconnect your accounts whenever you want, and nothing of yours leaves with the platform.
How does the self-learning from replies work?
Every reply is a signal. Postyai reads responses, classifies them — interested, not now, wrong person, or unsubscribe — and feeds that back into how it writes and times the next messages. Positive replies pause follow-ups and route the contact to you; objections and silence reshape future copy and cadence. Over time the agent gets sharper at what earns replies for your specific audience, because it is learning from your real conversations, not a generic model.
Billing
What does Postyai cost?
Postyai is a flat platform subscription in INR (₹), starting from ₹999/month — you pay for the software, not per email. Because you bring your own inboxes and AI key, the sending and model costs are yours directly and unmarked-up, which usually makes total cost far lower than per-contact email tools at scale. See the pricing page for current plans and included volume.
Is there a free trial, and can I cancel anytime?
Yes to both. You can start free to import a list, connect an inbox, and watch Postyai write real emails before you pay, and every paid plan is month-to-month with no lock-in. Cancel anytime from billing and you keep access through the period you have paid for. Because your data and accounts are always yours, leaving is as clean as exporting and disconnecting.
